Because we work with authors of varying experience and needs, we offer additional services. These services and fees are in addition to our listed package, unless specified on the Services page and are available to all authors, regardless of publisher in most cases:

Note: One fact that many new authors are unaware of is that most fees associated with producing and promoting your book are tax deductible. Consult your CPA for details.

E-book: $250.00 (requires separate ISBN)

An E-book file in .PDF format is provided for you to sell and market however you wish. We ensure your E-book file is safe, providing protection that prevents editing or printing of the document. E-books require a separate ISBN number, which will be assigned. E-books will be offered at a 55% wholesale discount to E-book sellers and author will receive the standard 83% royalty on all payments received to Dragonppublishing.net for the E-book. You can set the price yourself between $8.00 and $100.00, just notify us of your price so our distributor properly charges.

Author Website Design & Hosting: $450.00

Own your very own website! Every author knows a website is one of the most powerful marketing tools available. We will design and launch your website and host it for six months. This website will have all the features of sites costing thousands for a fraction of the cost.

Author Email Address (authorname@dragonpublishing.net): $75.00

Own your very own private author email address hosted by your publisher. This is the perfect companion to any website or marketing plan. Use this email address in your signature lines and other marketing material. Dragonpublishing.net will host it for 6 months. Email address is POP enabled with a 10MB limit, more MB can be purchased at a reasonable rate, but we have found 10MB to be more than enough.

Press Release With Full Distribution: $175.00

Our publicity team will draft a press release for your book, meeting industry standards for effectiveness. The press release becomes yours, you are free to modify it and use it for all your marketing and promotion needs. Press release distribution includes....

Publicity Tool Kit: $125.00

A personal, pre-formatted Sales Sheet will be made available. You can print however many copies you desire. Sales Sheets can be used as hand-outs at trade shows, book signings, and for sales and publicity. Your sales sheet includes:

Manuscript Editing: $350.00

Editing of manuscripts that includes but is not limited to grammar, punctuation, proofreading, editing suggestions, and story line content. Also included is a review of the manuscript. With the purchase of our editing service package, each author will have the choice of choosing a Promotional Kit or Media Kit built specifically for their book. This service is performed completely by an outside service, so the provided review will not be from Dragonpublishing.net (ensuring an honest review).

Paper Galley and Cover Proof: $75.00

This add-on exists for those authors interested in reviewing a printed galley and cover proof as opposed to receiving it via e-mail in PDF format.

Alteration Fee: $125.00

We allow revisions after publication, perfect for "2nd Editions" or to change, or enhance content. Making a change to your interior, cover or chosen publishing package incurs a $125.00 revision fee and may be subject to a $60/hour fee to implement the actual change. The cover is related to the interior by page count. If your revisions cause the interior page count to change by more than a couple pages, a change to the cover will also be required, because the width of your spine will change.

Expedited Service: $100.00

Want to move ahead of everyone else? That's what our expedited service can do for you. Your manuscript will move ahead of all others. Our normal turnaround time is 9-12 weeks. With this service, the timeframe is 6-8 weeks.

Copyright Registration: $100.00

Your book contains a copyright the second you write it, but many authors want to secure their copyright officially. This is not a required service, but may help you sleep better at night.

Library of Congress Number: $100.00

A Library of Congress Card Number (LCCN) is offered as a PCN (Preassigned Control Number). PCNs are used by the US Library system. Dragonpublishing.net will obtain a PCN for you.

Back Page Promotion: $125.00

Why not advertise your other books to the readers of your current books? The Back Page Promotion gives you that opportunity. Your previous books will be displayed on the back page. It is simple, supply us with a digital cover image of your previous book, retail price and availability and the text and we will do all the rest.

Hard Cover Book: $300.00 (includes separate ISBN)

Your book and cover will be formatted to be produced in a hardcover version, complete with full color dust jacket in a 6.14 x 9.21 size. Cover will be stamped cloth, paper will be White 50lb and must be a minimum of 108 pages with a maximum of 828 pages. 1 free book is included with this option.

Foreword Magazine Review: $450.00

Your title will receive a 400+ word professional review from one of the most prestigious magazines available to libraries and booksellers. This is the best marketing value in the publishing industry. Use the review in your press kit, blurb your cover and highlight in your marketing campaigns. The review will be archived with the top three title information databases used by booksellers and librarians who make purchasing decisions: Bowker's Books-In-Print, Baker & Taylor's Titlesource 3, and Ingram's iPage, in addition to Forewordmagazine.com.

Foreword Magazine "Titles Worth Noting Title Showcase": $500.00

4-color 1/10 page ad that includes title info, ordering details and cover image featured in Foreword magazine. Provides specific category genres that do the best possible job in providing perspective and information to the librarians and booksellers who are primary readers and market for Foreword magazine.

Radio Station w/Producers Contact List: $125.00

The perfect marketing tool to get your book talked about on the radio. Station producers actively search for interview subjects, so get your name in the hat and start marketing your book.

Book Reviewer Contact List: $125.00
